The revised bundle offer

Modiphius says qualifying Getting Started preorders placed before January 1, 2027 will receive Aliens Set 2 at no extra charge. The All-In offer receives additional copies of Aliens Sets 1 and 2. The change increases enemy variety and model count without requiring eligible buyers to place a second order.

The qualification window is important. This is not a permanent promise attached to every future retail copy, and it does not mean all products are shipping immediately. Buyers need to match their order type and date against the publisher’s conditions instead of assuming that every bundle contains the bonus sets.

Three fulfilment stages

The current roadmap separates materials and sales channels. Resin preorders are planned to ship in November, hard-injection plastic—or HIPS—preorders in January, and the retail range is planned to begin in February 2027. These are publisher targets, not proof that manufacturing and delivery have already occurred in every territory.

That sequence helps explain why two customers may receive apparently similar XCOM products months apart. Resin supports the earlier specialist run, while hard plastic is intended for the wider line. Final delivery still depends on production, freight and local distribution, none of which is guaranteed merely by the roadmap.

How larger games are meant to work

Designer Ivan Sorensen is preparing guidance for solo and cooperative games using two XCOM squads. This matters because the extra models are not useful only as collection bonuses; they can support a broader play format. Modiphius has not yet published the complete rules, scenario structure or balance limits, so the larger mode remains in development.

The next verification points are the promised guide, actual November and January fulfilment, and the February retail launch. Terrain contents and later expansions remain open questions and should not be inferred from the bundle update.
