Former id Software producer Andrew Willis describes 60-to-80-hour weeks on Doom: The Dark Ages – Revelations
Willis told Kiwi Talkz that he worked at least 12 hours daily for two months, sometimes 17 hours, and that much of the expansion was produced within three to four months. He described the pressure as indirectly induced by the assigned workload rather than an explicit company-wide mandate. His first-person account establishes his own hours and observations, not identical conditions for every employee.
