Street Fighter movie launches a five-origin-story graphic novel with M. Bison actor David Dastmalchian writing
Legendary Comics and Rocketship launched the Kickstarter September 10 with stories about Ken and Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile and Dhalsim, Dan Hibiki, and M. Bison. David Dastmalchian writes the villain he plays on screen; Paul Salamoff, Amy Chu, Nick Marino and Brian Buccellato write the other chapters. The campaign seeks US$70,000 by October 9, while the film is dated October 16; M. Bison's artist remains unannounced.
