The Rookie creator Alexi Hawley extends his Lionsgate deal as The Envoy moves from Hulu to HBO Max
TheWrap reported on August 25 that Hawley signed a new multi-year overall agreement with Lionsgate Television and will continue expanding The Rookie franchise. His hostage-recovery drama The Envoy is now in development for HBO Max after previously being set at Hulu. No financial terms, series order, production start or release date were announced for The Envoy.
