Total War: Shogun 2 Complete Edition modernizes the game and protects old purchases
Total War: Shogun 2 Complete Edition releases October 13 internationally, corresponding to October 14 in Japan, across Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store and GOG. It includes the downloadable content, updated visuals and interface, Japanese and Chinese voice and text, more than 50 newly playable minor factions, 64-bit support and mod.io integration. The original standalone Steam listing stops being purchasable September 28 but remains in owners' libraries; existing owners receive missing legacy DLC at no cost and qualify for a time-limited 75 percent Steam upgrade discount.
