Arcana Labs options The Furry Wild West for human-designed, AI-assisted feature animation
Arcana Labs said on August 27 that it optioned Lavie's feature and plans to keep scripts, designs, storyboards, characters, settings and shot design with human artists while applying AI during animation to create movement between still images. Eric Feig is attached as producer, but the project has no distributor, production date, disclosed budget, staffing plan or independently auditable record of tool use.
