Free Boise Comic Arts Festival sets 100-plus exhibitors and four Saturday cosplay events
The free festival needs no general registration and runs September 5–6, preceded by a September 4 panel with creators Amy Chu, Jeremy Whitley and Rye Hickman. More than 100 exhibitors are listed. Saturday's Junior Ballroom schedule has a youth contest at 11:30 a.m., parade at 12:30 p.m., adult contest at 1:30 p.m. and teen contest at 3:30 p.m.; online cosplay registration closes September 4, with onsite entries also accepted.
