Universal labels sue DistroKid over 1,000 allegedly infringing recordings
The September 15 complaint alleges copyright infringement and deceptive trade practices and lists 1,000 recordings the labels say copy or sample works they own or license. The plaintiffs seek an injunction and statutory damages. The filing proves the claims were made, not that DistroKid is liable; no merits response from DistroKid was found.
