Motion Picture Association models a U.S. federal production incentive from 2027 through 2035
The MPA published a commissioned study September 15 comparing two 2027–2035 scenarios: one without a federal incentive and one in which an incentive starts in 2027. The model measures the proposed policy's additional production spending, economic activity, jobs and labor income. Its publication does not mean Congress has introduced or enacted the measure, and the projected benefits depend on assumptions selected for research sponsored by an interested trade group.
