Bread Thief television anime starts October 2 on NHK with Atsumi Tanezaki and Kana Hanazawa

Shin-Ei Animation announced that Bread Thief begins October 2 at 6:40 p.m. JST on NHK E-tele and will air Fridays. A second main trailer and key visual introduce Atsumi Tanezaki as the mysterious French bread character, while Kana Hanazawa narrates the series. The trailer also features Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's ending song Pang Pang Pang; no episode count or international distributor has been announced.

The Seven Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom adds five actors and yama's opening in its second trailer

The official anime site announced on September 7 that Miyuki Sakurai, Natsumi Fujiwara, Takehito Koyasu, Kazuyuki Okitsu and Daisuke Namikawa will voice Eleanor, Princess Brunhilde, Elliot, Hugo and Peregrinas. A second trailer debuts individual voice clips for the seven brothers and previews yama's opening song Sayonara wa Iwanai. The series still has only an October 2026 window on NHK Educational TV, with no exact start time or international platform.
