SEKIRO: NO DEFEAT begins a three-week Japanese cinema run for its hand-drawn game adaptation
The film began a limited three-week run in cinemas across Japan on September 4, with the official site linking its participating-theatre list. The production reworks the game's player-controlled viewpoint into a linear screen story while retaining Wolf's mission to protect Kuro. Crunchyroll plans to release the anime outside Japan, China, Korea, Russia and Belarus, but has not dated that rollout.
