Comic-Con's child-to-junior validation deadline arrives September 8 for 2027 San Diego badge eligibility

A child who attended Comic-Con 2026 on a free child badge but is now 13 must create a unique Junior Member ID and validate the 2026 badge number by September 8 to become eligible for Returning Registration on October 17. Validation also permits participation in Open Registration on November 14, but it is not a badge sale and does not guarantee a purchase; the organizer gives no exact cutoff hour.
