San Marino Comics reports about 50,000 presences across its three-day city-centre festival
A local August 31 report says San Marino Comics drew about 50,000 presences from August 28–30, with more than 200 appointments, more than 60 guests and participating groups, and eight themed areas. Tourism secretary Federico Pedini Amati repeated those figures after the festival, which included Star Trek, Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings communities; neither the organizer nor the government supplied an independent audit or a unique-visitor count.
