The notice provides no payment, timetable or accounting remedy and dismisses the action without prejudice, which permits the claims to be filed again. The July complaint had sought at least $18 million plus more than $10 million in interest over alleged royalty underreporting and nonpayment; Sony did not admit wrongdoing and had not answered the allegations.
