STUDIOCANAL develops a fourth live-action Paddington film and a redesigned animated feature while planning the 2028 anniversary

The live-action film has Armando Iannucci and Simon Blackwell attached to write, while the separate animated feature is intended to introduce a new visual design. STUDIOCANAL is also seeking licensing partners and more international experiences for Paddington's 70th anniversary, but gives no release dates, distributors or new licensees.

Paddington and Patricia Nash plan London-and-marmalade accessories for April 2027

The spring collection will include handbags, wallets, travel pieces, novelty accessories and Patricia Nash's first rain boots. Designs use a London landmark map, marmalade motifs and Paddington's gingham pattern, with a limited Mother's Day floral capsule also planned. The announcement does not yet name territories, retailers, prices or production quantities.
