Suno made v6 available globally and is retiring older models. It says v6 uses licensed data from Warner Music Group, BMG and Believe plus preference data, with revenue sharing for rights-holder redistribution and later opt-in artist-derived experiences. Universal and Sony are not named partners.

It alleges Spanish-language recordings and lyrics were taken from services including YouTube, Deezer and Genius for AI training. The pleaded damages arithmetic exceeds $165 million, but liability, scraping, authorization and damages are all unproven and no defendant answer was identified.
