LEGO PlayStation rebuilds Sony's original console in 1,911 pieces with Gran Turismo and Ape Escape scenes

The 1,911-piece model measures about 26 centimetres wide, includes working Power and Open mechanisms, a plug-in controller and removable miniature scenes for Gran Turismo and Ape Escape. Direct PlayStation sales and LEGO Insiders access begin October 1 in listed markets, followed by general LEGO availability October 4; announced prices include US$179.99, £139.99 and €159.99.

LEGO reports 22% consumer-sales growth as SMART Play reaches Star Wars and Pokémon sets

LEGO reported August 25 that H1 2026 revenue rose 21% to DKK 41.9 billion, consumer sales 22% and operating profit 22% to DKK 10.9 billion. It launched more than 330 products, cited Star Wars among bestselling themes, placed SMART Play in Star Wars and Pokémon, acquired 29 LEGO and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres and reached 1,106 branded stores.
