BlockTheMerger puts anti-Paramount–Warner billboards in New York and California

Advanced Television reports that billboards calling for the deal to be blocked began appearing September 14 in New York and California. The campaign follows the July 13 federal antitrust lawsuit by California and 11 other state attorneys general and is asking film professionals to submit experiences as potential evidence. Its site says a trial is scheduled for March 2–19, 2027 and correctly notes that the court has not yet ruled.

Warner says Lanterns episode three reached a series-high 10 million global viewers

TheWrap reported September 3 that episode three drew 10 million global viewers, including 7 million in the United States, during its first three days on HBO and HBO Max. Warner Bros. Discovery called that a series high; its comparable premiere figures were 9.3 million globally and 6.6 million in the US. These are internal company metrics, not independently audited ratings, and no renewal was announced.

Coyote vs. Acme opens to an estimated US$13–14 million after its rescue

Coyote vs. Acme is estimated to earn US$13–14 million from 3,573 North American locations after a US$5.2 million opening day. That would be Ketchup Entertainment's largest opening, while an A CinemaScore and publication-time Rotten Tomatoes readings of 94% from critics and 97% from audiences indicate a strong initial reception; all weekend figures remain provisional.
