Chou Kaguya-hime! anime film's limited Blu-ray leads Japan's weekly chart with 27,000 copies
Oricon reported that the limited Blu-ray edition sold an estimated 27,000 copies in its first week and ranked first on Japan's weekly Blu-ray chart, while the regular edition sold an estimated 9,000 and ranked third. The ranking covers September 7 through 13 after both editions launched September 9. The limited set includes a 142-minute cut with some added scenes, character commentary and a bonus CD; the estimates are not worldwide shipments or lifetime sales.
