Detective Conan adds new animation and a special navigator role to Japan's Birdman Contest 2026 broadcast
ORICON reported that Conan Edogawa will guide parts of Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV's national broadcast on September 2 at 7 p.m. JST. Newly produced animation connects the detective character to the 48th human-powered-flight competition, recorded July 25–26 at the Matsubara shore of Lake Biwa in Hikone, Shiga, Japan; the segment's length and international availability were not announced.
