Pop King offers about 140 publishers two conditional routes to recover inventory stranded by Diamond's bankruptcy

Reports published September 3 say Pop King sent roughly 140 vendors a September 1 offer: negotiate a sale of their stock to Pop King, or pay it to retrieve and return the goods. The company says it rented nearby space and hired a local operations veteran. Neither route can proceed unless the inventory is legally releasable; no publisher acceptance or court approval is reported, and an October 6 hearing will address Chase Bank's interests and Sparkle Pop's objection.

Diamond bankruptcy notice reaches 1,301 creditors as future mailings narrow

A bankruptcy notice was sent to 1,301 Diamond creditors and interested parties, while the proposed future-notice list would narrow to directly involved parties, government bodies, secured creditors, the 20 largest unsecured creditors, consignment groups and people who request notice. A described settlement path could let more consignors join, reclaim stock and waive proceeds from earlier unauthorized sales, but it remains subject to court approval.
