Jaadugar screens its first three acts and Mongolian-subtitled production footage in Ulaanbaatar

The production announced on September 3 that Jaadugar will join ANIMO Festival 2026 at AIC Steppe Arena in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. A September 12 panel features producer Kazuki Endo, Mongolian guests, a comment video from director Abel Góngora and making-of footage with Mongolian subtitles; acts one through three screen September 13 at 10 a.m. local time. No online stream or wider Mongolian distribution is confirmed.

Jaadugar making-of traces Science SARU's Mongolia research and its stripped-line visual method

A full production making-of released on August 23 has Yamada, Góngora and character-design and sakuga chief Kenichi Yoshida explain how the staff translated the manga's passage of time, including experiments that remove lines outside characters' primary outlines. Anime Corner also reports that the directors researched landscapes and nomadic life on location in Mongolia and brought those observations into the setting; the documentary supports the attributed process, not a claim that every historical detail is independently verified.
