KADOKAWA merges five anime studios into the 310-person Studio One Base
ENGI, Studio KADAN, Chiptune, Bellnox Films and Raging Bull will merge into Studio One Base in November 2026. The wholly owned KADOKAWA company will have about 310 employees at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. KADOKAWA says the five labels and their production lines will continue while management, back-office, recruitment and training functions are consolidated. The release announces no layoffs, cancellations or title-specific production changes.
