Munchkin becomes a D&D 5.5e compatible roleplaying game
Lynnvander Studios and Steve Jackson Games announced an officially licensed Munchkin tabletop RPG compatible with the 5.5e rules framework. The report says the game will preserve Munchkin's backstabbing and loot-driven tone in a full roleplaying format. Lynnvander plans to launch the project on BackerKit. The studio statement establishes the license, compatibility target and planned crowdfunding platform, not a campaign date, price, final contents or delivery window.
