PS5 update identifies voice-chat speakers and enables enhanced PSSR by default
PS5 system software version 26.06-14.00.00 adds an optional on-screen name and position setting for the current speaker in native voice chat. On PS5 Pro, improved PSSR image quality is now enabled by default but can be turned off. The update also adds Welcome Hub community-activity widgets and an option to disable Bluetooth for esports-venue operation. The cited Japanese report does not establish simultaneous worldwide rollout or gains for unsupported titles.
