The Pauper Format Panel says all twelve commons become legal for tabletop play on September 7, except Narcomoeba and Price of Progress, which are banned immediately. Magic Online will implement the change September 23; Baleful Strix, Vandalblast, Dispatch and Cut Down are on the watch list before planned reviews on October 12 and in December.
Wizards called the September 3 sale a disaster and said it is investigating an internal system failure or external tampering. Customers encountered unclear completion screens and duplicate or conflicting emails; anyone still missing confirmation after 24 hours is directed to support. Wizards has not yet established the cause, affected-order count, remaining inventory or remedy.
