The 1977 Star Wars returns to theaters worldwide February 19, 2027
Lucasfilm announced on December 5, 2025, that a newly restored version of the classic 1977 theatrical release will return to cinemas worldwide for a limited time beginning February 19, 2027. Participating theaters, ticket-sale dates, the length of the run and the restoration’s exact presentation have not yet been detailed.
