Susan Sarandon says agencies still warn studios not to hire her after her support for Palestine
At The Echo Chamber’s Venice press conference on September 6, Sarandon said films had recently been taken away from her and that agencies continued telling people not to hire her. She linked the lost work and her inability to work for a major studio to her public support for Palestine, and thanked Pallaoro for disregarding warnings. She did not identify any project, agency or studio, and EFE did not independently establish a blacklist or the motives of unnamed employers.
