The Long Dark maps 24-plus months of free core updates and two paid DLC streams
Hinterland outlined three work streams on August 28: mostly free Survival fixes and additions, including Episode Five items, mod support and custom settings, plus two still-unnamed paid DLC lines. One DLC should resemble the Tales from the Far Territory pass; the other will use a different format. The studio is considering higher pricing and says new DLC may omit Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at launch, but neither decision is final.
