Tokyo Anime Award Festival ends after 13 editions and will preserve its website as an archive
The festival office announced on September 4 that TAAF has ended after thirteen editions, following the close of online competition screenings for its March 13-16, 2026 event. Its official X account, YouTube channel and inquiry form will close September 30, while the website will remain as an archive. The statement names neither a financial cause nor a successor festival.
