Valheim leaves early access with version 1.0 and the Deep North
Iron Gate says version 1.0 is now available, ending the game's early-access period and adding the Deep North. The 1.0 label does not mean future support has ended.

Valheim is scheduled to leave early access with version 1.0 today
Iron Gate scheduled Valheim 1.0 and the Deep North biome for September 9. The release plan covers PC, Linux, Mac and Xbox while adding PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, with full cross-play announced. The owner-set release date, platforms and cross-play plan are official, but the storefront still showed an early-access state during inspection, so the rollout is not asserted as completed.
