The corrected event dates
D&D Fan Expo London will no longer take place on August 21–22, 2026. The organizer has moved the event to September 4–5, 2027. The venue context remains ExCeL London in London, United Kingdom, unless a later official notice changes that arrangement.
This is a postponement, not a same-season adjustment. Anyone relying on an older listing needs to replace both the day and the year in their plans. The announcement does not identify a substitute D&D Fan Expo program in London for the abandoned 2026 weekend.
What happens to existing tickets
Tickets already purchased remain valid for the new September 2027 dates. Ticketholders who do not want or cannot use the postponed date may request a refund through the organizer’s stated process. Those are distinct options; validity for 2027 does not require every buyer to accept the delay.
Travel, accommodation and third-party purchases are separate from the convention ticket itself. The organizer’s notice establishes the event-ticket position, but attendees should verify cancellation terms directly with hotels, carriers or other vendors because those agreements are not automatically governed by the expo’s refund promise.
Why the location and delay matter
ExCeL London is a major convention venue, and the originally scheduled weekend could have attracted travelers as well as local attendees. Naming the city, country and venue makes the practical consequence clear for readers who do not recognize the event brand or the venue name on its own.
The new date preserves the planned debut instead of announcing a cancellation, but a move to 2027 creates a long period in which programming, guests and logistics may change. Previously promoted details should not be assumed to carry over unless the organizer reconfirms them for the new edition.
