Ace Combat 8 reveals a 100-player Air Base and cross-platform co-op, PvPvE and competitive modes
Its online mode uses a social Air Base for up to 100 people, separate progression and saves, and cross-play. Co-Op Assault has two four-player teams race separate enemy forces for score; Co-Op Warfare lets those teams interfere amid NPC units; Emergency Sortie sends eight pilots against classic giant weapons, alongside 4v4 and eight-player deathmatch events. Deluxe early access starts September 28 before the October 2 launch.
