BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War postpones episodes 49 and 50 to October in Japan

Aniplex announced on September 12 that episode 49 will now air on TV Tokyo affiliates on October 19 and stream in Japan from noon October 20; episode 50 follows on October 26 and 27. The committee says the extra time is intended to improve quality before the finale. Four scheduled slots from September 19 through October 12 will instead carry a selection of climax episodes. Dates for other Japanese broadcasters and any effects on international simulcasts remain unannounced.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War moves Japanese streaming of episode 47 onward to Tuesdays

The anime production announced on September 5 that episode 47 and later episodes will begin rolling out on listed Japanese subscription and rental services at 6 p.m. JST each Tuesday instead of noon Sunday. The affected services include Disney+, Netflix, Prime Video, U-NEXT, Hulu and ABEMA, while ad-supported schedules do not change; the notice does not redefine overseas release times.

BLEACH THE STORIES OF ICHIGO opens its free month-long Tokyo popup

The popup opened September 4 on the sixth floor of Seibu Shibuya's Movida building in Tokyo, Japan, and runs through October 4 with free admission. It includes large displays assembled from the Stories Visuals, character photo areas, original goods and a purchase-linked photo booth. The first three days require entry tickets, and later crowd controls remain possible. A second free stop runs November 28 to December 13 at Shinsaibashi PARCO in Osaka, Japan.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War casting

BLEACH casts Yuki Kaji as adult Toshiro Hitsugaya after a supervised audition

Episode 44 revealed Yuki Kaji as the voice of Hitsugaya’s transformed adult form while Park retains the regular role. In comments reported August 15, Kaji says creator Tite Kubo supervised multiple auditions and that the recording preserved Park’s tonal character while distinguishing the performance from Byakuya; the source does not establish how long the alternate casting lasts.
