Live-action Blue Lock film passes ¥1.2 billion in Japan and adds three Yusuke Nomura illustration cards
Cinema Today reported on September 7 that the film reached 838,360 admissions and ¥1,206,756,400 during its first 31 days, from August 7 through September 6. The manga has now passed 65 million copies in circulation. Beginning September 12, participating Japanese cinemas will distribute one of three randomly selected double-sided cards drawn by Nomura, pairing Isagi with Bachira, Chigiri with Kunigami, or Nagi with Reo. The film is rolling out in more than 30 overseas markets, but the report does not give a complete territory schedule or worldwide gross.
