Kaiouki returns after 16 years with prequel manga Kaiouki: Joden Ki
Kaiouki: Joden Ki began serialization in the October issue of Monthly Shonen Magazine, released in Japan on September 4. The first new Kaiouki series in sixteen years follows a younger Fan Gamma Bizen on an ordeal across an unnamed continent before he inherits the weapon called the Nihonto. No collected-volume schedule or international licence was announced.
