Weekly Shonen Sunday creates a fantasy manga award chaired by Rumiko Takahashi
Weekly Shonen Sunday opened a new award for original manga containing at least one fantasy element, with Rumiko Takahashi serving as chair. Entries may be no longer than 42 pages and are due January 11, 2027; results are scheduled for March 24. The grand prize is ¥1 million plus publication in the main magazine or an extra edition and on Sunday Webry, but the rules do not promise serialization or international-language submission support.
