Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance brings Lao-Shan Lung, Gundoraja and the Skybound Eyrie to its 2027 expansion

Capcom revealed the returning Elder Dragon Lao-Shan Lung, the new storm-controlling Gundoraja and pack-flying Araketa in the floating Skybound Eyrie. The Boost Bracer will create weapon-specific powered actions across all 14 types. Entry requires Hunter Rank 40 and completion of Awaking From a Dream; the PS5 launch remains broadly in 2027.

PlayStation Plus adds Mega Man X: Command Mission in September and plans Dino Crisis 2 and Ratchet & Clank for 2026

Mega Man X: Command Mission joins the classics tier in September. Sony also schedules Dino Crisis 2 and the original Ratchet & Clank for later in 2026 without exact dates. Separately, the one-to-four-player robotic looter shooter Mycopunk will enter the Game Catalog later this year; the recap does not specify whether every addition reaches every region simultaneously.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword reaches its scheduled September 4 PS5 launch day

The September 4 date established by the developer-authored PlayStation announcement is now the current Toronto date. The game follows Musashi's sword combat against Genma and lets PS5 demo players transfer their save for the Kubi Akari stat-boosting charm. This early check does not claim that every regional storefront has completed its rollover or restate unsupported platform availability.

Capcom schedules a September 16 Spotlight and first public Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance demo for Tokyo Game Show in Chiba

Capcom will stream a roughly 40-minute Spotlight on September 16 at 10 a.m. Toronto time covering Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override and Street Fighter 6. Its September 17–21 booth will offer the first public playable Ascendance build, the first Japanese public Dark Arisen demo and hands-on access to Mega Man, Onimusha, Pragmata, Street Fighter 6 and other titles; entry to the trade show is separate.

Dragon's Dogma 2 builds Switch 2 support from RE Engine work and prepares new pawn coordination

Capcom said accumulated RE Engine porting knowledge and the restarted project team made the Switch 2 version feasible, with handheld play its main platform-specific benefit and no exclusive feature. Foundations for new player-and-pawn coordination are also planned for the base game's late-August update, before Dark Arisen adds specialties and commands in Norgan rather than recreating Bitterblack Isle.
