Sony and Prime Video reportedly weigh four competing Spider-Man television scripts

The Ankler reported on September 11, as relayed by The Playlist, that Sony and Prime Video are considering four scripts led by Kelvin Yu, Alison Tatlock, Ben H. Winters, and the team of Ben Nedivi and Matt Wolpert with Megan McDonnell. The companies might choose one or two, but no character, title, premise, link to Spider-Noir, production start or order has been disclosed or confirmed by either company.

A Tale of the Secret Saint starts October 3 in Japan with its second episode streaming one week early

Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures announced on September 7 that the television anime begins October 3 at 10 p.m. JST on TOKYO MX and BS11, with later broadcasts on Sun TV and AT-X. ABEMA and Prime Video will stream episode one alongside television and make episode two available a week ahead of broadcast; other Japanese services follow after the terrestrial airing. The main trailer features the opening Flare of Soul and ending STELLAR, while Kikunosuke Toya joins as thirteenth-order captain Curtis Bannister. A complete international simulcast and dub plan is not yet confirmed.

Nicolas Cage says one Spider-Noir season was enough to complete his creative aim

Please Save My Earth gets its first live-action series for a worldwide Prime Video release in fall 2027

Amazon announced on August 21 that the manga's first live-action adaptation will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and regions in fall 2027. Alice Hirose plays Mokuren, Takahiro Miki directs, Nana Yamamoto writes and Amazon MGM Studios produces with The Seven and Kadokawa Daiei Studio. No exact date, episode count, complete cast or territory exceptions were disclosed.

Criminal production assistant Ijaaz Noohu sues Ed Brubaker and Amazon MGM over alleged workplace misconduct

TheWrap reported September 3 that Noohu filed a Los Angeles County Superior Court complaint naming Brubaker, Amazon MGM and others. The suit alleges sexual, racial and religious harassment, discrimination, assault, battery, defamation and retaliation and seeks unspecified damages. The allegations have not been proven in court, and Amazon MGM declined TheWrap's request for comment.

Prime Video says season three will premiere in more than 240 countries and territories with four episodes on November 11, 2026, followed by two on November 18 and the final two on November 25. Set five years after Eregion's fall, the season follows the war against Sauron and the forging of the One Ring; Jamie Campbell Bower joins as Celeborn and Zubin Varla as Khamûl.
