Read this story →A September 5 PAX West panel described Cid as an aerial spear fighter and Vincent as a mid-range gunner who can transform into Chaos for melee combat. Its US localization names four FITS roles—Warrior, Knight, Black Mage and Summoner—and the panel also pointed to Final Fantasy XIV's three-part Beyond the Lifestream raid from patch 8.01 and the Midgar-set Keybound Brawler on October 28, 2026.
