Boxoffice Pro reported September 16 that Sony Pictures placed Spider-Man: Brand New Day at US$936.7 million in the United States and Canada after 47 days, passing The Force Awakens' previous nominal domestic total. The Ankler reported on September 11, as relayed by The Playlist, that Sony and Prime Video are considering four scripts led by Kelvin Yu, Alison Tatlock, Ben H. Winters, and the team of Ben Nedivi and Matt Wolpert with Megan McDonnell. The companies might choose one or two, but no character, title, premise, link to Spider-Noir, production start or order has been disclosed or confirmed by either company.
